Postal Letter

USPS .......................?

I'm from egypt and i have ordered some stuff through USPS on my friend's address in springfield. USPS tracking says they came by and didnt find anyone and left a notice. I asked her they said they didnt. Then they sent : Your item was processed and left our KEARNY, NJ 07032 facility on January 9, 2009. Information, if available, is updated every evening. What does this mean? Has my order been sent back? I couldnt manage to call the post office from here ... can anyone help?

1. I would have your friend call although it sounds like they may have had a system error. Someone needs to call them and they can tell for sure.
2. You ordered stuff from your friend who lives in New Jersey and you are having it shipped to Egypt?
