How severe is the current UK postal workers strike?

I ordered something off of Amazon.uk a month ago and it still hasnt come the only possible explanation i can think of would be the strike. does this make sense? by the way i am living in Israel.

1. I ordered something from Amazon about a month ago and got it in one week, and I live in Spain.
2. well the only thing i canthink of is that you acctually ordered this from an "acctual amazon" and since they are from South America it may take them a while to swim to Isreal.
3. have you tried querying it? that'll help. Something I ordered was a week over its estimated delivery date and I put it down to the postal strike. I queried it but they said they sent it. so now I'm waiting too.
4. Send the sender an email, it should have arrived by now
