Does the ups offer the same services with the same rates as the usps?

The only usps near me is closed on saturdays so I have to go to a ups that's close. I wanted to mail this small package by priority mail with the usps, it would have cost a little over $5. I want to know if I can do the same at the UPS? As in do they offer this same service? Thanks.

1. No. The USPS and UPS are two completely different companies. They don't try to "match" each other. It will likely cost quite a bit more to send your small package via UPS. In general, the smaller the package, the better off you are using the Post Office, and the bigger the package, the better off you are using UPS or FedEx.
2. If you have a paypal account, you could pay for and print priority mail postage on line. Then just attach the label to your package and drop it in a mail box.
