Can post office detect Anthrax letters and Mail Bombs sent to me?

Can post office detect Anthrax letters and Mail Bombs sent to me? I had argument and involved pissed-off situation with a guy, and he may have access to stuff to make letter bombs or plant some virus/bacteria/poison vial in envelope to try to kill me. Can the post office sniff and scan out these contaminated letters this crzy kiler tries to send?

  1. The postal service currently has bio-hazard detection equipment on all mail processing equipment in mail processing centers throughout the country. The postal service has several standard operating procedures regarding suspicious packages. If the package weighs over 13oz it has to be dropped off at a counter where a clerk will be able to evaluate the package to determine if there is anything suspicious about it.
