  1. Right clicking on a file, using a separate application, or sending mail from some web sites use the default email program. That is normally Outlook Express or Windows Mail. You can change it to the Yahoo mail web site. ₪ For Firefox 3 (There is no option for FF 2.)... Go to Yahoo Mail and select "options". Then select "Set Y! Mail as default webmail". This will only work for mailto links within Firefox. I know of no way to access it from outside of Firefox. It can also be done by going to tools > options > applications. Scroll down to MAILTO and select Yahoo Mail from the dropdown menu. ₪ For Internet Explorer You must first download Yahoo! Toolbar from http://toolbar.yahoo.com and install it. During installation you will be asked if you want to make yahoo mail your default email. ₪ ʎəɿʞɹɐq ₪
  2. Make Yahoo Default Email. and that will fix that prblem out for you. Click on this link http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/or… then choose All New Yahoo Mail Or do this In your browser click tools >“Internet Options Click the “Programs” Click the “E-mail” pull-down menu, and select Yahoo! Mail. 5.Click OK. Done! good luck Jes***
  3. Yahoo doesn't normally appear on the programs options list , cause it's web based mail and not installed on your computer. However, you can put it there-----this way. Click this link, from Yahoo, for detailed instructions on making Yahoo your default mail client on Internet Explorer. You WILL be required to download their "newest" toolbar---use the download link that is on that page to be SURE and get the correct one. That download adds Yahoo! Mail to your PC's list of email programs so you can pick it. Then, after you've chosen Yahoo! Mail as your PC's default email application, Yahoo! Mail will open when you click "any" email link in "any" browser. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/settings/settings-10.html
