How long does it take to apply for a US passport at the post office?

I have all my paperwork in order (application, proof of citizenship, etc). I will be getting my photo at the post office. How long does it take to get my photo taken at the post office and to submit my application? I'm talking about actual time at the post office, not how long it takes for the passport to arrive. @Fonda: As I stated in my question, I'm asking how long does it take at the post office, not how long does it take to receive your passport. I.E., 30 minutes? 1 hour?

1. It took a week and a half for me, but that was two years ago.
2. I'm not sure about how long it takes to get your picture processed since I did mine elsewhere, but submitting your application only takes a few minutes. The agent will look over your paperwork to make sure everything's filled in, you'll have to submit payment, and that's really it.
