How hard is it to get a job at USPS?

I am an army vet and I want to know if anybody have tried getting a job at the postal service. How hard is it to get any job in USPS? What are the requirements?

1. Right now it is impossible. There is a freeze on hiring for quite awhile. If they ever do give the test again, you will get 5 points veterans preference or 10 points, if you are disabled. They are trying to cut the workforce right now though. Good Luck!
