Postal Letter

Have you lost personal package by U.S. postal service???

I'm waiting for one package like more than 3 weeks,but it hasn't come yet.:-( I sent it from FL to NY for moving. I called post office and they gave me a investigation number but nothing change! I'm afraid that post office lost my package! Let me know If you had that kind of experience n what did you solve it????

1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Our postal service blows, just wait till you go down there and talk to them... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Comedy, you already did. Real official "Investigation Number" haha :P
2. Maybe you wrote the wrong address.
3. Yes - a couple of times. Once when I sent a big pacakage overseas and it never arrived. I paid like $30 in postage but since I didn't buy the insurance, I could only report it. The Post Office did nothing about it and it was lost forever. Once I got a package delivered to me three years late. It was all torn up and came with a letter that said that they found inside a sorting machine. Another time, something I ordered through a catalogue never arrived but the company just sent another one along via UPS. Fedex Ground also lost some packages and never did anything about it.
4. well that is how it goes... I have sent packages that have been returned , and stuff that never showed up . they really do not do anything when they lose something . it is just a shuffle , song and dance they give you . I gave up after 4 months . nothing resolved..
5. I've gotta say, over many years of mailing all over the country and all over the world, I've had minimal problems with the postal office (aside from the fact that everything that goes through Puerto Rico seems to be dropped from a 5th storey drop on principle). They seem to have lost my future mother-in-law's RSVP to my wedding, though. I'm sure it's the Post Office's fault....
6. You might want to ask them if the package got caught up in security red tape. Next time pay the extra fee for delevery insurance.
