How can I get my USPS tracking number?

I recently shipped out a package through USPS and the person hasn't received it yet. I want to track it, however all i got is a receipt. On the receipt I can't find the tracking number (it's not on there) however, I do see an approval number, transaction number, receipt number, bill number, etc. Can I use any of these to help track my package? What can I do to find my tracking number?

1. Hi, Unless you asked for that or delivery confirmation then you can't track your package. Buyers online like receiving untrackable packages as they can get refunded by paypal. If you print from usps.com delivery conf is free with priority mail.
