Postal Letter

I would like to send a music CD album to a friend in Philippine....?

I know if you sent a package such as boxes, it will more likely get opened, stolen, and lost. I was told by my friend who works at USPS local office based on her own experience, her church member's experience, and her customers complaining about this many many times. I was told UPS, Fedex is the same way. So last time I used a private Philippine owned carrier company who can deliver a box from door to door. HOWEVER...... If you are sending a letter, I was often told that it would more likely OK using a regular postal service. I am wondering if it would still be safe to send a Music CD in a medium size envelop with an air bubble and just use USPS / regular air mail to Philippines ???

  1. I've sent CD's, flash drives, and SD cards in bubble mailers via USPS first class mail before and thankfully, my recipients got them after two weeks. But still, I send anything that passes PhilPost with 50/50 chance of delivery. If it's something irreplaceable, I pay extra for registeted mail and proof of delivery.
