How does one check chat history if you chat from your Yahoo! e-mail account instead of using an IM client?

I need to pull some chat history from my Yahoo e-mail account but can't figure out how to do so. Does yahoo chat on e-mail even keep record of chat history?

1. Only if you saved your chats to the email. Then you can get them from the inbox. Otherwise they are not saved.
