Is there such thing as a pet delivery service?

I was looking at some puppies online and i was speaking with the owner. Only she told me that the dog would be sent via a pet delivery service. Now i'm not to sure about this because she asks me plenty of personal info that she says are required to transfer the ownership. Is there such thing as this pet delivery service. And should i be able to trust them?

1. That does exist, basically you pay an arm and leg for shipping, then have to pickup the new pet at an airport- Get more information on how the animal will be handled and make a judgment call based on how far away he/she is. Generally things to look for bedding in the crate properly ventilated in a controlled climate food, water, toys etc (If its a long flight, see if they will drug the puppy so they dont get so stressed on the flight) PS: The more personal info the better, shows that the breeder wants to know more about you to make sure your not a wackjob.
