2. There are too many graphic designers out there. Look in the help wanted classifieds and you won't see any ads for them.
3. It depends on the company. Graphic design is competitive, though, because there are SO many of them out there. Good luck finding a job in that field.
4. If you have really solid CAD, computer, and marketing base, you won't have a hard time finding a job in a big city that pays around $23-$27 per hour. In a small town, it'll be really rough - maybe a better side job in cities with less than 250,000 folks.
