FedEx Package Tracking: What does this message mean?

I ordered a jacket and this morning the website sent me a fed ex link to track my package. It said a bit earlier that it was in New Berlin Wisconsin (which is about 3 hours away from my town) and now it says that it was tendered to USPS? what does that mean? Does that mean I have to arrange pick up with my postal office or does that just mean my mailman will be delivering the package? And how come it says to wait a day or two if its already at the facility in my town? can I just go and pick it up? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just kinda new to ordering online... heres the info the site gave me: Apr 7, 2010 9:40 AM At USPS facility DEKALB, IL Tendered to USPS for delivery - Allow one to two additional days for delivery Apr 7, 2010 2:16 AM Departed FedEx location NEW BERLIN, WI Apr 7, 2010 12:00 AM Shipment information sent to USPS DEKALB, IL Apr 6, 2010 10:36 PM Arrived at FedEx location NEW BERLIN, WI Apr 6, 2010 2:47 PM Shipment information sent to FedEx

  1. FedEx, gives for a fee, many residential parcels to the post office to deliver. They generally drop off large pallets of parcels at various offices, depending on the size of the post office. If you live in Dekalb, you should get it tomorrow. If the Dekalb office is a distribution center for the area, then it could, not necessarily, take an extra day. Good Luck!
