Do you feel like American News is turning into tabloid trash like England?
In England their news is more about tabloids and taking pictures of royalty in awkward scenarios rather then reporting actual current events. In America it's coming to that point where the average News company is reporting about tiger woods instead of US Postal Service bail outs and other current events.

- It's not turning into it, it already is it.
- Yeah, it's pretty sad.
- American News is already a place of tabloid trash. I hate turning to CNN and seeing useless news about celebrities. Today, I was flipping through all the news channels and all they talk about is Mel Gibson. I finally gave up and turned to the good ol' PBS News Hour.
- It is not turning into tabloid trash it has been that way for several years now.
- already has, however there are no broadsheets, and the tabloids still cover current events they have about 30 pages of them, then a bussiness section then sports, except, the sun, daily star and other page 3 ones which i guess you are refuring to
- In the UK we have far more international news. America gets little of any. The tabloids are how you describe in the UK (Mail, Sun...), but the broadsheets (FT, Telegraph...) and The Times aren't as bad as you assert, yet.
- It's well past the point of turning. It's rare to see something actually important, and when you do, it's so biased one way or another it's hardly fact. Quite sad, I think.
- There are other newspapers than the Sun and the Mail you know.
- Yes, half the "sources" quoted by Fox come from Rupert Murdoch's UK tabloids, where he regularly plants fake news stories they can "report on" - pathetic.
- No , we have our own brand of trash...Very little news in the news....Mostly commentary and bs...
