How would I send a letter internationally?
Hi. I would like to send a letter from the US to France. I have never done this before, how do I get the postage correct? On the USPS website it says that sending a letter internationally should cost $1.79, can I make this amount with those forever stamps? Do I have to go to the post office and get a special kind? Thanks.

- Whichever way you want to compose the required postage should be o.k. If you are not sure, why not go to the post office the first time. The weight limit for overseas mail, air-mail, is 1/2 oz. That is half of the domestic mail allowable weight.
- You would need 5 forever stamps, if $1.79 is the correct amount for the weight of the letter. You do not have to go to the post office to get a special kind of stamp.
