Is there anything the Dems and Obama have not screwed up?

This reminds me of the old saying. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. The dems claim they are trying to help, but just make things worse. Talk about a smoke screen. U.S. troops in Afghanistan and Iraq are not getting cigarettes being mailed to them by friends and family because of a new law meant to curb smuggling and underage sales through the mail, according to The Associated Press. A law went into effect June 29 that mandates that all packages with tobacco be sent through a specific type of U.S. Postal Service shipping that requires a signature for delivery. Even then, that type of shipping does not deliver to many military addresses abroad. It has left friends and family, who want to send care packages to their loved ones, fuming. "I would hope they change it," military wife April Woods said of the policy. Woods, 26, said she would frequently mail her husband, a soldier stationed in Afghanistan, snacks, pictures, drink mixes and Marlboros. 3. The brainwashing by the media is so bad, that people will absolutely refuse to question Obama, accept anything he says as good. People do not think for themselves. Obama TELLS them what to think. If you don't believe me, ask them what do they think about Obama voting for the patriot act when he campaigned against it. They will say its a "good thing".
4. Financial reform and credit card reform is a good thing. The banks have been shafting the people long enough with their involuntary overdraft protection, reshuffling payment schedules, and fees for everything under the sun. We bailed out these banks to the TARP tune of trillions of dollars only to have them screw the people with their deceptive fees and practices. It is high time to clean up the credit card business. It is high time to give people and businesses the choice to charge less if they pay cash instead of with credit card. Only problem with Obama's financial reform is that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are excluded. These government run mortgage companies really messed up and we bailed them out to the tune of $150 billion. We're still bailing out these failed badly run corrupt government institutions. And they are trading at, what, 40 cents on the stock exchange. Beside that I can't think of too many other good things that were done.

We also haven't screwed up our minds enough to not notice this kind of a discrepancy and we have also not screwed up our minds enough to take anything at the New York Daily News seriously.
