What's it like working at FedEx Kinko's as a Customer Service Ass.?
I'm thinking about applying at one... just because it seems something pretty easy I can handle and it's mostly dealing with copies and prints I'm assuming. How are customers on average? Who am I normally dealing with... customer wise. Thanks!

- Easy compared to what? Brain surgery? Yup. Stocking shelves in the supermarket? Maybe. It largely depends on whether it's a busy, higher-volume location and how many coworkers are available to handle the workload. These days the stores are thinly staffed, which means plenty of work for each staffer. An alert, energetic and conscientious person would likely consider the work challenging...not difficult but not easy either. Your day would likely be divided between the FedEx shipping counter, the print-services counter, and the self-service areas. If you get satisfaction from helping customers with limited knowledge, skills and abilities, you might actually enjoy this job. Over 95 percent of customers are considerate, normal and friendly people; they respond well to help in most situations. But a small percentage of customers fall into the category of difficult, most commonly impatient, abusive, indecisive, unrealistic and/or unwilling to abide by the rules. This small percentage of folks can make the job difficult at times.
