If USPS tracking claims an item was 'undeliverable as addressed' How long until it is returned to the sender?

A Customer of mine on eBay got his address wrong, and his package was unable to be delivered. Now, the tracking status says 'undeliverable as address' since Aug 18th How long until its back to my address? I'm worried now.

1. Depends on how far he is away from you
2. Keep checking the status of it to see if it's moving or not. You should receive it within a week of the "undeliverable" date.
