Postal Letter

Is there any way to find a package shipped USPS without tracking or receipt?

I shipped a package via media mail at the USPS a month ago. The recipient never received the package and it was never returned to me. Since it is media mail there is no tracking and I didn't do delivery confirmation. I also don't have the receipt from sending the package since it was over a month ago that is was sent. Is there any way that I can find the package or am I just going to have to accept that it is gone along with my items?

  1. Not much you can do except ask the p.o. where you mailed it, but without the receipt, it's a long shot. Try to figure the exact date you sent it before you ask them.
  2. Nope. Even if you did have the receipt for what you paid, that wouldn't help. It could turn up yet, if it's at the bottom of a mailbag someplace, but consider it gone.
