Package shipped before change of address?
My husband and I just moved from overseas (military move) and we had to change our address to my father-in-laws house until we knew what our new address would be. Anyways, we ordered some stuff from Amazon, and forgot to change the address to our new place. I realized we hadn't done the change of address through USPS, so I just did that. It had already shipped, but I'm wondering if the post office there will forward it? I just want to make sure they're not going to have to pay anything to have it shipped to us. Thanks!

- On top of the change of address you need to put in to have your mail forwarded to your new address. My husband and I literally just went through this! He's army and we just moved to a new house. We had to put in our change of address and we also had to have our mail forwarded. I know you can do this online, but I read the form inside the post office that states for military you have to do it in person. I suggest either go ahead and try to do a forwarding service from the USPS website, or you find a phone number to contact them. Good luck!
