Ebay seller says USPS tracks only within US, not Internationally?
This question is a continuation to my previous one saying that an ebay seller says tracking information is "not available" with international USPS First Class and Priority Flat Rate Service. I sent him a message asking him, how come? He says that USPS First Class and Priority Flat Rate Service only offer tracking information within the US and not internationally. Is this true? Should I trust what this Ebay seller is saying?

- this is because it is the UNITED STATED postal service. once a package leaves the UNITED STATES, his follows whatever mail and delivery regulations of that country. if you do not fully trust what the seller is saying about the US postal guidelines, why not go to the USPS website yourself?
- There should still be a tracking for your item, however once it leaves the US it will be track by your postal company in your country. For example, I live in the US and buy items through China. When they send me my items they give me an EMS tracking number which tracks the item process in China. Once it leaves China and get to the US I use the same tracking number to track it on USPS. All Ebay sellers should always know that they need tracking w/ all their items; saying USPS don't offer tracking information and not going out of there way to provide you security on your items is poor customer service. Good luck!
