How long does it take to forward USPS mail, 1 month and counting ?

I moved in the same region, different city but within 5 miles, filled up electronic change of address form got confirmation in email not postal, I enquired at the post office, they say they are forwarding to the new address but not a single mail in one month.....what should I do ?

1. Go back and check your information and be sure you filled out the forms correctly, and if so, go back to the Post Office and ask to speak to the postal director.
