Postal Letter

Can someone thats underage receive a delivery from US postal service?

I ordered something from amazon.com and its gonna be delivered via US postal service. The delivery order is under my name but i am 15 years old, will I be able to receive the package ? or Does the US postal service just drop the delivery package in front of your house and leave like UPS does?

  1. If it's through USPS (it usually is) they'll just stick it in your mailbox, don't worry, you'll definitely receive it
  2. Yes. Don't advertise your age though. Act "as if."
  3. Unless the package has restricted delivery, the mail man will deliver your package to anyone at the house.
  4. As long as there is a secure place to leave the package if no one is home, it'll be delivered. However, if a signature is required, I never allow anyone underage to sign for anything, even if the package is for that person.
