how do i get in touch with US postal service from the uk?

I didnt want to phone as its far to expensive from uk to usa. I went on the website and went to send email but wasnt sure which catagory and when i finally choose one that sounded ok it was asking me for contact details and a zip code for usa and wouldnt lt me go futher without them. I wanted to find out details on a package i sent because the tracking onlin hasnt updated for a while.

1. The easiest way is by having somebody in the US do it for you.
2. Just enter the zip code (5 digit post code) of the address where you shipped the package as that's the post office who would deal with your package
3. email looks like the only option -maybe just write a random zip code
4. Unfortunately, due to Universal Postal Union regulations, you need to contact your Postal Administration regarding a package that you shipped to the United States. Only the person in the US can submit a request for assistance through the United States Postal Service. If you submit your request through usps.com, you will get a nice letter letting you know that you need to contact your own postal administration.
