  1. Your flag is from India - so I'm not sure how much help I can be. My son has his own business. He makes tshirts and buttons and sells them over the internet and at conferences. They all have messages that are empowering to people with disabilities and others. You can sell things to people anywhere. He has sent his shirts to Iceland, England, and Mali. So you could send things from India all over too. My son is 27 and has Down syndrome. He needs support for his business - he cannot do it alone. But you don't expect a person who owns a big business to do everything - so why not a small business?
  2. Since you're from another country, I don't know what the opportunities there would be. Here in the U.S., McDonald's hires the mentally challenged to be floor greeters. They also do some busing of the tables, bagging up the trash, etc. Observe your brother to see what some of his skills are. One of the problems in hiring handicapped workers is the liability. If he/she doesn't understand the directions given, and suffers an injury, then there is liability to the employer. I have a friend whose son ran his own magazine subscription business out of his home. He had some help with his bank account, and people looked over his orders to make sure they were correct before he submitted them, but he had a successful business for many years until he passed away.
  3. Are there group homes and services for people with disabilities in India? If so, they can be very good resources to help your brother find a job.
