My FedEx tracking update says delivery exception what does it mean?

It says IN transit it big red letters but under neath it says delivery exception i really want my shipment please help

1. An 'exception' means that something unusual has happened and will delay your parcel. It could be for a number of reasons: maybe the truck your parcel was on got into an accident and parcels had to be tranfered to a different truck (delay), it's somewhat unlikely since it's summer, but bad weather can cause an 'exception' (delay), maybe they are having trouble finding your address if perhaps it didn't get entered correctly (delay), etc. ----------------- Try and be patient. I can tell that is going to be hard for you to do though. What's the urgency of the parcel? A new video game or a cell phone or something like that? Trust me, somehow you will survive until you receive your item.
