Is on-line tracking included with flat rates boxes from The Postal Service?

I am looking to sell my old iPod Touch on ebay and i've read how its best to get tracking and to make sure the buyer has to sign for it on delivery. I am looking to use one of the USPS flat rate boxes and was wondering if I can get these features on the flat rate box. I am not shipping international.

1. Simply ask for a tracking number when you send the package.
2. Delivery confirmation tracking is 80 cents extra.
