received a false thc / bac test result - possible health related?

i had to go to get an alcohol assessment for an owi (2 beers in a 6 1/2 hour time span showed a bac of .132 ,, after i blew clean on the breathalizer and then the cop found out i had a well paying job) and after the assessment they had me give them a urine sample whioch they are saying tested positive for marijuana. i don't smoke marijuana, dont hang around anyone who smokes, and dont even allow it to be brought into my home. i looked online to find reasons for a false thc reading and one of them was kidney disease or diabetes- was wondering if its possible i could have either one based on the fact that i usually consume an average of a 12 pack of Sunkist Orange soda a day along with a few candy bars here and there and my usual diet consists of boxed/canned foods and frozen pizzas- and smoke cigs - pack-pack and 1/2 a day - im a mailman so i walk a lot everyday so im not huge or anything- stocky at best. is it possible i could have one of these and not know it.. and if so would it cause a false reading on the marijuana as well as the bac? also dont have alcohol in my home (was raised by an alcoholic mother so i dont drink at home and have only been to a bar twice in the last 7 months, and then just had a few and played the jukebox.) since the assessment place took down my salary before the assessment im convinced this is the biggest money hungry scam going on and im a bit pissed- especially about the marijuana thing. will call my lawyer friday but wanted to check to see if i had anything going on in my favor here.

  1. You have every right to request and examine the test / results yourself. If 2 lines are present, regardless of how faint, it's a negative. If they aren't available, it's your word against theirs. There is one test that you could get, but it's expensive. A hair drug test is pretty reliable and shows everything for the past 90 days. I don't see how 2 beers over that period of time could result in that level. EDIT: Sorry, but it's 90 days. A 1.5 inch sample is used measured from the root end. Since hair grows approx. 0.5 inch a month, 1.5 inched equates to 90ish days.
  2. daddyrx is "almost" fully correct. They can tell what you have done by a hair test A LOT longer than 90 days. It depends on your hair length.
