How do I get my passport without birth certificate?

The only documents I have is: social security, expired passport, voters registration card, and 2 fl issued state id/drivers license. My original birth certificate has been lost and my Haitian passport has expired in 2000. Is there anyway i can receive a U.S. Passport without going through the hassle of getting a n600 form? My dad was Naturalized to become a citizen before i turned 18. I went to my local United States Postal Office to fill out for the US Passport and they told me that i needed my own Naturalization (after i showed them my fathers own), and or birth certificate. Please tell me what can I do besides this. 10points *****5*****

  1. Your passport is sufficient. Go to the your County Building and renew your passport there
  2. If you were born in the US then you need to reapply for a birth certificate. If you were born outside the US then a birth certificate is of no good to you. You say that your dad naturalized as a US citizen. Where were you born? If you were born outside the US, then it doesn't mean that you automatically received US citizenship when your dad naturalized. It depends on when your dad naturalized, and whether or not he included you on his application for naturalization. Were you ever issued any certificate of naturalization or citizenship, stating that you received US citizenship when your dad naturalized? If not, you need to confirm with US Citizenship and Immigration Services as to your own status in the US. At best, if you did receive US citizenship along with your Dad, you'll have to apply for a new certificate of citizenship. At worst, if your dad did not include you on his application, then you may not be a US citizen, but rather a permanent resident - assuming that you immigrated to the US.
  3. So basically, you are an "undocumented immigrant" lol
  4. If you are a naturalized American citizen, it might require naturalization papers, so do you have that? I suggest if you are an American citizen applying directly at a U.S. passport agency and explain you lost your naturalization papers. It would be on file. If you are not an American citizen, you have to go to the Haitian embassy.
