what size usps flat rate box should i use to ship a prom dress?

im gonna sell some dresses and i was wondering what size usps flat rate box i would need.

1. Use large flat rate box Size:12" x 12" x 5 1/2"
2. I would not recommend sending any sort of a formal type of dress in the Flat Rate Box. 2 reasons. First, even the large box will not likely be large enough to pack a dress without some serious cramming issues, leading to a very wrinkled product when your buyer receives it. Second, You may pay less in Postage by using another sort of container if the recipient is close to you. The Flat Rate is not always the least expensive alternative. When I sold a Prom Dress a few years ago, I used a plastic tote. it was reasonably light in weight and the dress did not need to be seriously folded down to fit in a smaller container. It arrived in perfect condition and my buyer was quite pleased.
