What is fedex ground's delivery policy if no one is home?

If fedex arrives at your house, and no one is there to accept a package, what does fedex do? sender didn't add any additional services like signature confirmation, just the standard ground shipping. and the neighborhood is drexel hill pa. if that helps. the suburbs

1. Depends upon what the sender requested and their loss experience in your neighborhood.
2. They leave the package if no additional signature was added. it the value is over a certain amount a sign will be required.. Either way you will receive a door tag stating a re-delivery date.
