can my roommate pick up a fedex ground package for me at the hub center?

The sender marked my package with a direct signature option. However, I won't be home and I am leaving on a business trip the following day. Can my roommate pick up the package for me? His ID shows the same address. On a side note, does the address have to match? I just moved in and my ID does not have his address on it.
