Postal Letter

I want your opinion about something (letters to be shown at immigration at the airport)?

It is not that I have many choices right now, but I would like your opinion anyway. Some should remember about me 3 weeks ago asking about visas, UKBA, schools, etc (I am brazilian, and as I am going to stay for less than 6 months in England and I am not going to work there, I don't need a visa, I just need to talk to the immigration at the airport). Well, I am subscribed in a language school who is on the Tier 4 list. My flight tickets are bought and I am going to England on next monday. My boyfriend went to the school and did the payment to me, so the school could make a letter to me to show it at the immigration. My boyfriend also did his letter saying I have accomodation there, with his info, like phone, where he works, his boss, etc. I have a letter of my job too. My problem is, as I was expecting it would happen (and indeed it happened), I asked my boyfriend to do 2 letters (and ask the school 2 letters too), so he would send me one copy of each through mail and he would keep one with himself. I asked him to do that in case the letters would get lost in the middle of the way. Today is the last working day before I go. At the time the mailman comes to my building on monday I should be already in the airplane going to England. I am really mad about it. The letters had arrived in Brazil already. I called to the post office in São Paulo and by the code of them they told me it is still under power of customs, and only after they do an Xray and stuff on the envelope they will send it to the post office. And they also said: ifthey still didn't do that today, probably you are not going to have your letter on monday, even if you decide to get the letter yourself at our post office before your travel. We all know that those customs have no hurry to do anything... Now my question is: what do you think I should do? My boyfriend still has his letters there. Should I ask him to scan them and send to me through e-mail, so I can print it to show the copies to the immigration? If I do that, do you think I should tell the immigration they are copies and explain what happened? Or... do you know if in this case my boyfriend could go in person at the airport with the letters and give them to any official? Thanks for the attention, and I am sorry for the long story reading my text I saw I was a bit confusing. I meant that today is the last working day before I go and the letters still haven't arrived at my home. At the time the mailman comes to my building on monday I should be already in the airplane going to England, so I will have to go without the original ones.

  1. Short answer to a long question. Have him scan and e-mail the acceptance letter from the language school and his sponsorship letter. Have him to be at the airport at your arrival time and to provide the originals if requred by the Border Agency Officer. Have him also be able to show that he is able to support you. http://bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/visitingtheuk/sponsoringavisitor/visitorsarrival/ ..
