can private courier (fedex/ups etcetera) mail - be mailed to united states postal office boxes?

  1. No. I would write more, but there's really nothing more to be said. --- ricebike refers to locations, such as a UPS store, that has PO boxes. Those aren't post office boxes, they are "PMB", which are "private mail boxes", a service provided by "commercial mail receiving agencies". Private couriers are allowed to deliver to PMBs, but not POBs.
  2. Nope. I worked for UPS for a long time and mail boxes and PO boxes are basically the Postal Services competitive advantage. Fedex and UPS have been fighting this policy, but don't expect it to change any time soon.
  3. as a FedEx Home delivery driver, nope. i only did it during this Xmas eve because the person was waiting for the present; not our policy to deliver to the post office, but since I cared for the customer's present, i had delivered it with the manager's permission Now, if it's a UPS store, with p o boxes, yes I have delivered many of them. FedEx has a newer service called SmartPost, but you'll need a special account for that. SmartPost uses the postal workers as their final destination handlers
