How to collect Parcelforce package from local post office?

Ok, I missed a delivery this morning, and I got the standard delivery failed card, which said the parcel would be put at the local post office, but I should allow a day before collecting. I've tracked the parcel, and the most recent entry is 23-12-2010 11:41Malborough SPSOAddressee advised to collect from Post Office And parcel status is: HELD Can I collect now, or do I have to wait? Cheers And please if you don't know don't just guess, I've had that too many times before...

1. Usually a couple of hours mate - then it is back at the depot. BUT - it also depends on whether the van is still out or caught up in the snow etc etc etc
2. Give the post office a ring to see whether it's there yet. Usually my postie has undelivered packages back in a couple of hours, but if it's out on a van with a days worth of deliveries then it probably won't get back until the end of the day.
