Can I ask the post office to intentionally delay the sending of my letter?
If I have the postage and everything correct, can I request that the post office send my letter, say, five years from now to my desired address? Think Back to the Future Part 2.

- No, they have a mandate that requires that the deliver the mail in a timely manner. They cannot hold it for you.
- The postage will not be correct in five years. Obviously not one of the believers in the 2012 myth
- Why dont you send it in 5 years instead of now,is the better question.
- No the Post office cannot hold any mail even if customers asks.
- Not likely ........... UNLESS .................. you slip the Postmaster a Finsky or Ten spot , in which case he might hide the letter in his shorts for 5 years !!
