Postal Letter

Can I ask the post office to intentionally delay the sending of my letter?

If I have the postage and everything correct, can I request that the post office send my letter, say, five years from now to my desired address? Think Back to the Future Part 2.

  1. No, they have a mandate that requires that the deliver the mail in a timely manner. They cannot hold it for you.
  2. The postage will not be correct in five years. Obviously not one of the believers in the 2012 myth
  3. Why dont you send it in 5 years instead of now,is the better question.
  4. No the Post office cannot hold any mail even if customers asks.
  5. Not likely ........... UNLESS .................. you slip the Postmaster a Finsky or Ten spot , in which case he might hide the letter in his shorts for 5 years !!
