Are the postal codes in the Netherlands reletive to the location?

For example, is 1017 PM very close to 1016 GZ?

2. Yes, usually the addresses in one neighbourhood have the same numbers, but different letters. Website to find postcodes: www.postcode.nl Just type in: Dam, Amsterdam and you get all the postcodes of the houses of the Dam in Amsterdam. Other way round works also: type the postcode, and it gives you the address
3. Yes, but nieuwer neighbourhoods kan have slightly unexpected codes, compared to older ones in the area...
