USPS tracking stuck on origin post is preparing shipment?

i ordered a package from Malaysia and their website says that they shipped it on the 16th but USPS tracking still says Origin Post is Preparing Shipment. its been almost two weeks! should i be worried? This is what it says... Label/Receipt Number: XXXX XXXX XXXX X Service(s): Registered Mail™ Status: Origin Post is Preparing Shipment We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece.

1. All it says is that it might be on the way. Internaational packages take longer now than they used to. Security is higher, and you can count on it taking at least three weeks. But I would contact the shipping company.
