How long does fedex ground take?

So i shipped a package to Buffalo, NY on 1/19/11 via Fedex Ground. Since i shipped it from queens ny, it should be up there within 1 to 2 days. However it has been 7 days and my package still says in transit Keasbey NJ. Last tracking update was on the 20th

1. Your estimate is about what I would say, too. So - now you should <<call>> Fed Ex and ask them what is happening. We have no way to assist in that and cannot offer any other advice.
2. in hindsight, ship with USPS for future same state deliveries! they're cheaper than FedEx ground call the 800 number or go to their website an email them to have a "paper trail" http://www.fedex.com/us/customersupport/email/express_ground.html
