If there was a breast milk delivery service available would you use it rather than formula?

If you are using breast milk from a donor to feed your baby, would you pay for a weekly delivery service?

  1. if i had the money, of course!
  2. yes, if it was not outrageously priced.
  3. Yeah, if my own milk dried up before I'd like it to or if I wasn't able to do it myself and I could afford it. It'd be even better if they sold it at specialty shops or something too just in case I run out!
  4. YES! I would.
  5. I would have no problem driving to a donor to get the milk if I needed donor milk. I would definitely rather use a delivery service than formula.
  6. Maybe. But i would have to see if the cost outweighed the benefit. The breast milk you buy gets pasteurized and stuff. It loses a lot of the nutrients.
  7. Depending on a few things - YES. But I would want to assure that the "donor" was eating healthy & not drinking. But how do you assure that they don't eat what my son can't tolerate (some of the oddest foods upset his stomach). And secondly I would have to consider cost. I've had mastitis twice now, and my supply is very low (it drops after each infection). I would love to supplement with "mommy milk" rather than formula - but as it is, he gets soy formula as his supplement.
  8. Yes! Any breastmilk is better than formula! They cannot recreate breastmilk no matter how hard they try!
  9. Definitely! Breast milk is better than formula in any case!
  10. If my wife couldn't and it wasn't too much more expensive. Breast milk is way better than any alternative and can save money on medical bills.
  11. I'd rather do my own boob than another human's boob, but I guess I'd prefer both to a cow's udder!
