What Ink Remover product works for stamps on paper?

I am looking for an ink remover that works to remove ink stamps off of paper surface ie: cancellation stamp on usps forever stamp is there anything good enough to do the trick let me know Thanks

1. It depends on the ink product and also on the type of paper. If the paper has a somewhat smooth finish acetone might work - just make sure it is the real acetone and not the nail polish remover because the nail polish remover has added ingredients which won't give you good results.
