what is the best anti virus protection and virus removal out there for free?

I have a virus on the old computer and downloaded malwarebytes on a flash drive from my good computer the old computer . I got the icon of kingston which is the flash icon on the old computerbut when i click te item it won't do anything. It won't let me do system restore even in safe mode. So what is the best antivirus protection and virus removel out there for free? Thanks, April

3. give advanced system care by iobit a try, i currently use AVG Internet security and AVG antivirus which is free and it works perfect
4. "AVG Free" is very good, its also a "Gold Certified Trusted" by microsft. Alternatively, you can get Microsoft Security Essentials, its very effective too.
