Prison delivery, I currently work as a driver?

I currently work as a delivery driver I have a felony on my record, should i be alarm? My company just pick up a account out in Phoenix, that the customers works with the Arizona dept of corrections facility, I was asked to filled out some visitor paperwork for the prison, that ask for my SS# and DL# and vehicle info (it’s a full size van), I’m worried that I might get in trouble. I have a felony on my record for a white collar crime. and scared that they not want me to delivered there, and even worse let my employer know of my pass, I was hired on a good driving record basis, By the way there are window shutter components wood material, and I also have no outstanding warrants of anything involving breaking the law Oh by the way the paperwork also is totally different than the regular visitation form, it has more info requirements for my company, and it states that no criminal activity done in the pass will denied entry, but what is pending in the present, wish me luck

  1. That sucks and wth is a white color crime
  2. The employer hired you without doing a back ground check . That is his problem . You didn't lie on the application I hope. The prison may not want you delivering as you may have a soft heart for inmates. That's for the boss to solve. Keep your mouth shut and wait and see how it goes. Good luck. (Afelony is a felony. White collar felony makes no difference.)
  3. I take it you never spent time in prison, then. :) All they are doing is taking all the information they can get about you and putting it in a file. Now, they SAY that this is security, but really, they are the dirtiest SOBs out there and want to know ever detail about everyone. But, in this case, it is partially true. Since the 9/11 attacks, you can't do anything without giving your life history to the government, in triplicate. This way, when you show up, they can check your ID and make sure you are who you are, and not someone from Iraq or some other type, trying to pass as a driver. You see, they have so much to be ashamed about in letting terrorists and criminals get by with so much, for so long, that today they want to have everything so they won't screw up again. Guess what? It won't work. They claim to be gods and perfect, but they can't get basic paperwork straight, so... I suspect that your boss already knows about your past. Today, they run background checks, credit checks, and who knows what else, even for workers at fast food joints, that it would be almost impossible. How do I know? Well, first, I've had so many ran on me that it isn't funny. In 90% of the cases, I've had to correct them because some IDIOT in the government can't read numbers or a police report, and get the info correct. Then, I've done a few myself, from time to time. Finally, just recently, a friend of mine had a job taken away from him for a police report that the idiot cop forgot to clear before he died. Now, he can't get a job because it is on his record as pending, and it is over four years old! It hasn't, and will not, go to court because the cop was being a jerk at the time and refused to clear it when he said he would. So, later on, when he pulled the same stunt with a truck driver, the driver shot him dead for it. The driver got time, but my friend got screwed because now they won't remove it and he has to go to court over it. This job was a for dime store company and had nothing to do with his 'security' or position, as it was contract work. Now, think about what they are asking here. YOUR SS# and OL/DL#, which is on file with the DMV in most areas. Then, the VEHICLE info. All in all, this is to prove that, when you show up, you are the right person, in the right vehicle, and nothing more. If you are not going INTO the prison, they don't care about your past unless they want to do a strip search and BC search, just to be jerks. Heaven help if you show up in a different vehicle, or forget your info. You may be buried there, as a warning to others. All in all, carry nothing illegal, or even questionable. Keep your hands in plain sight, on the steering wheel, at all times. Do what they say, do not touch them, do not speak unless spoken to, and then only in short answers and directly to the point. I've had to work with these types. If you even use a word that has a dual meaning (like climax or high), you may be facing sexual harassment or drug charges. They don't care how far they have to go to prove it, or what lies they have to tell, but they will do it. I would bet about half the people in prison ARE innocent of the charges, but did do something wrong. The police and system just lied and looked the other way, not caring. Get in and out as fast as you can, like you're working for FedEx or USP, on speed. Don't speak to anyone unless spoken to, and then not to prisoners (just to be safe). Don't even wave. Don't have drinks, cell phones, or smokes in the van, unless you must have for your job, and they are provided by the company. Mostly, they worry about illegal things coming in to the prisoners. Never mind that most of the guards do it anyway, and they just blame others. In most cases, they won't worry about a crime you did years ago, just what you're doing NOW. In this, I am relatively certain. A guy I know, with outstanding felony charges, went into a prison to see his friend, and they let him go in and come out, even though he was wanted in their area at the time. Really, really smart guys.
  4. You are correct you will not be allowed to enter the prison with your record
  5. If your employer did not ask you about your criminal history at the time you were hired, he can not now use that as a reason to fire you now.
