Postal Letter

Us postal service tracking stuck?

Had registered mail package sent from brittain ...royal tracking was fine up untill it said turned over to oversees post for delivery in united states......this was the 24th.......now since then all it has said is.....origin post is preparing dispatch........same as lots of people it seems............so whats going on since the 24th I called usps and they say thats last scan they have........so is it in customs or just making its way. Monday was holiday......last time I had one mailed it said origin post preparing dispatch untill it reached local post office but it only took 6 days.....this ones already been week and a half.......anybody got different answer.....should I just wait a day or 2 more
