Can I use a pre-paid freight label for shipping with a USPS Flat-rate box?

I am sending a couple of things to a company and it gave me a pre-paid shipping label (with "US Postal Service" on it) to stick on the box I am shipping out, meaning I don't have to pay. I only have the USPS flat-rate box. Can I use it even though the box is meant to be for flat-rate?

1. Is the pre-paid label for the flat rate box? If not, the PO will give you the other box. If the flat rate is more than the regular rate, they'll take it.
