Was given the wrong degree from a unversity and miss many employment opportunities?

I was given the the wrong degree from a university and did not notice until after a few months. I have used this in my job hunt and got no results. This mistake has costed many employment opportunities. Do i have a case for anything?

1. So you claim you didn't notice but then you say you used it in your job hunt. Which is it? Did you notice and then decide to use what you had anyway? That was your own fault. This is a fairly simple thing to remedy. Call the university and get the correct degree. Also make sure someone is proofing your cover letters and resume. And no, you don't have a case. You haven't suffered any identifiable damage.
