Does each address have a different postal code?
For example: L8S4K1. Is this postal code assigned to only one residence or business address? How do I search if the said postal code really exists. - what country are you? postal codes are by town. www.usps.com in the us
- No they do not. A large building may have its own and the post office makes claims (or used to) that they can deliver to an address by code, but in reallity NOPE. For example N0C1J0 is a rural area postal code and covers about 10km each direction of the post office there. Also a code ending in a 0 is a post office (in our country) and many are in rural locations and can cover several hundred physical addresses. The post office has a web site that you can enter an address and they'll give you the postal code for it. Use a search engine to find the appropriate web site for your country (although I suspect canada).
