Grocery delivery service, how to streamline multiple grocery shops at one time?

I am starting my own grocery delivery service. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I might be able to streamline multiple shops/deliveries at one time? In terms of business it would be helpful if I could shop for more than one person at a time, given they live in close range of each other without compromising the quality of my service which is very important to me. So if anyone has ever had to shop for themselves and one someone else at the same time.... how do you do it, without mixing everything up? Any suggestions?

  1. Limit the number of stores you provide service from and it will ease your problem greatly. Otherwise your question would need to include number of clients, location of the stores/distance between them and each one of your client's homes. But there are "apps" for that. Do a search for "efficiency calculators" or see the results of a quick Yahoo search on the keywords: http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oGdXDzqAdOg0MAET5XNyoA;_ylc=X1MDMjc2NjY3OQRfcgMyBGFvAzAEZnIDeWhzLWF2ZwRob3N0cHZpZAN5d3kweVVvR2RUQjR4aTBvVGdUWFR3SDhRNVl3dWs0SHFQTUFBY0lPBG5fZ3BzAzAEbl92cHMDMARvcmlnaW4Dc3JwBHF1ZXJ5A2VmZmljaWVudCByb3V0ZSBjYWxjdWxhdG9yBHNhbwMxBHZ0ZXN0aWQDYXZn?p=efficient+route+calculator&fr2=sb-top&fr=yhs-avg
