Does everyone have different postal codes or zip codes?
How does it work? are there streets with the same postal code or zip code, or does every single door carry different postal codes and zip codes?

- It depends on what city. So lets say i lived in Riverside, my zip code would be 92688...if i lived in huntington beach, it would be 92648:)
- only large office buildings have their own zip codes
- There is one zip code for every post office in the US. So everyone who is served by that post office has the same zip code. Postal codes, in Canada at least, are assigned to a block (actually, one side of a block).
- Usually, but not always, each US postal office has a zip code.
- every town has a different zip code
